Job Title: Application and System Admin
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Application and Server Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with MethodPark Stages Version 6 and 7, along with a strong background in supporting server and application landscapes. The candidate must possess excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in application and server support, with a focus on MethodPark Stages. Proficiency in configuring and maintaining server landscapes, including experience with server setup, software updates, security certificate management, and database migration.
Strong understanding of application landscapes, including experience with ticket processing, bug fixing, change management, and report building.
Experience setting up and maintaining interfaces to various systems and databases, including IBM Rational ClearCase, PTC Integrity, PTC Codebeamer, MySQL, Oracle, and LDAP.
Familiarity with IAM concepts and experience with IAM systems, including user management, permission structures, and single sign-on.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to addressing issues and improving processes.
Experience in Python/ VB Script/ any other script language
Responsibilities:
Support of Server Landscape:
Maintain and support the 12 existing servers, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
Set up and configure new Stages servers as required.
Update the Stages software and exchange JAVA versions and other software as needed.
Update security certificates and ensure compliance with security standards.
Connect to new databases in case of migration and support migration from on-premise to cloud environments.
Ensure consistency of software across production and test systems.
Keep server landscape up to date and have a deep understanding of the IT infrastructure.
Support of Application Landscape:
Possess in-depth knowledge of MethodPark Stages Version 6 and 7.
Process tickets efficiently and effectively, addressing user concerns and technical issues.
Debug and fix application bugs in a timely manner.
Provide advice on change management and assess the impact of changes on the application landscape.
Offer solutions to problems and make recommendations for improvement.
Perform metamodel adjustments and adjust reference models as necessary.
Understand Stages reports functionality and build database reports.
Read XML code to facilitate data exchange and integration.

PTC Integrity
PTC Codebeamer
MySQL Database
Oracle Database
LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol)
Access with IAM (Identity and Access Management):
Change the IAM structure to meet evolving business needs.
Update the permission concept to ensure appropriate access controls.
Adjust authorization groups as required.
Resolve login problems and maintain single sign-on functionality.
