Job Description

  • Overall responsible for heat treatment activities as shift in charge
  • Knowledge about SQF and GPC furnaces, phosphating process.
  • Monitoring and organizing production, capacity utilization, deserving productivity.
  • Managing the cost of heat treatment.
  • Facilitating heat treatment requirements in the shop floor.
  • Decision making on rework and rejection, non conformance control.
  • Metallurgical acceptance in all incoming and final products.
  • Problem analysis, counteractive action, execution and follow up.
  • Misc. reports such as daily/monthly reports, power point presentation.
  • Process knowledge of carburizing, carbo-nitriding, through hardening, Induction hardening, sub-zero, annealing, normalizing.
  • Carry out TPM/ FMEA and 8D activity with member of CFT Team.
  • Maintaining the Quality standards as per ISO/IATF 16949 2002, ISO 14000/18000 and as per customers requirements.
  • Knowledge of metallurgical lab.
  • Sound knowledge related to IATF Documentation, checklists and documentation.
