Job Description
You will play a pivotal role in overseeing the current MES infrastructure while spearheading the implementation of a newly acquired MES system.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the current MES to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement enhancements to maximize system capabilities.
- Address and resolve any issues that may arise with the existing MES, ensuring minimal disruption to manufacturing processes.
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of the implementation of a newly acquired MES system across the region.
- Conduct comprehensive business analysis to understand requirements, identify gaps, and ensure the new MES aligns with business objectives.
- Work closely with IT, operations, and other relevant departments to ensure a seamless integration of the new MES into existing manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with senior management to align MES strategies with overall business goals.
- Develop and implement regional strategies for optimizing MES performance, reducing downtime, and increasing overall productivity.
- Perform detailed business analysis to identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency gains, and cost reduction.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications for MES enhancements and new implementations.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with MES vendors and other technology partners.
- Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the effectiveness of the MES systems.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Business, IT, etc.)
- Proven experience in managing MES , in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated success in leading the implementation of MES systems.
- Strong business analysis skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Excellent project management and leadership abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and technology trends.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
