Responsibilities and Duties
1. Product Assortment Management: Curate and manage the online product
assortment, ensuring it aligns with the company's brand identity, target market,
and current trends.
2. Merchandising Strategy Development: Develop and execute merchandising
strategies to maximize sales, conversion rates, and average order value.
3. Content Creation and Management: Collaborate with the creative team to
produce high-quality product content, including product descriptions, images,
and videos that engage and inform customers.
4. Promotions and Campaigns: Plan and execute online promotions, discounts,
and campaigns to drive traffic and sales, leveraging insights from analytics and
market research.
5. Search Engine Optimization (SEO): Optimize product listings and content for
search engines to improve visibility and drive organic traffic.
6. Competitive Analysis: Monitor competitor activities and industry trends to
identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
7. Performance Analysis: Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and website
metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of merchandising initiatives and identify
areas for improvement.
8. Inventory Management: Coordinate with inventory planning and purchasing
teams to ensure adequate stock levels and timely product launches.
Mandatory Requirement
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Merchandising, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in merchandising, product management, or e-commerce, preferably within a retail or e-commerce environment.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
Detail-oriented with a keen eye for product assortment and quality.
