We are hiring a
Merchandiser for our client in the Apparel and Fashion Industry (Export House). The company is a government-recognized Star Export House of India that deals in apparel, fashion accessories, and home goods products. The company's clients include some of the largest global retailers in the world.
We are looking for an experienced
Senior Merchandiser to produce sales by providing point-of-purchase and shelf management services. You will ensure the right product is in the right place, at the right time, in the right quantity, and at the right price.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the production process for Ulla Johnson, Doen, Isabel Marant, Sea New York, and Veronica Beard, from design to delivery.
Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and acceptable quality.- Create and maintain production schedules, and monitor the production process to ensure design specifications and quality standards are met.
Collaborate with quality control personnel to maintain quality standards throughout the production process.
- Communicate regularly with Ulla Johnson, Doen, Isabel Marant, Sea New York, and Veronica Beard to understand their requirements and expectations, ensuring they are met throughout the production process.
Coordinate with logistics personnel to ensure the timely delivery of finished garments.- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and customer preferences to keep the garment export house competitive.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience managing and coordinating the production process for
Ulla Johnson,
Doen,
Isabel Marant,
Sea New York, or
Veronica Beard.
- Strong understanding of the fashion industry and trends.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.- Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and garment production software.
