Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Merchandiser to join SRI DEVI ASSOCIATES (INDIA) PRIVATE LIMITED. This is a full-time, mid-level position based in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years to a maximum of 6 years of relevant work experience in merchandising within the retail industry.

Qualifications And Skills

  • Product knowledge (Mandatory skill) in-depth understanding of the products being offered to make informed decisions about merchandising and stocking.
  • Market analysis (Mandatory skill) ability to gather and interpret market data to predict trends and make strategic merchandising decisions.

  • Visual merchandising creating visually appealing product displays to attract and engage customers.
  • Sales forecasting analyzing past sales data to predict future sales trends and plan inventory needs accordingly.
  • Competitor analysis researching and analyzing competitors strategies and offerings to remain competitive in the market.
  • Promotional strategy planning and executing promotions and special offers to boost sales and customer engagement.
  • Data analysis proficient in using data analytics tools to track performance metrics and make data-driven decisions.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies tailored to meet the needs of the company's target market.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to make informed merchandising decisions.
  • Manage inventory levels efficiently to ensure optimal stock availability and turnover.
  • Create and maintain visually appealing product displays to enhance the shopping experience and drive sales.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute sales forecasts and promotional strategies.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies and ensure accurate inventory records.
  • Analyze sales data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Work closely with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and consistent supply of products.
