Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Merchandiser to join our team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of merchandising, including product selection, product development, pricing, and promotion. This is a permanent position, and work-from-home arrangements are welcome.
Responsibilities
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the market
- Select and develop products that meet customer needs and preferences
- Develop pricing strategies that are competitive and profitable
- Create promotional campaigns that drive sales and increase brand awareness
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of products
- Manage inventory levels to ensure products are always in stock
- Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies as needed to meet sales targets
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- 3-7 years of experience in merchandising or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and marketplaces
