Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Merchandiser to join our team. The role is permanent and allows for work from home. The ideal candidate will have 2-6 years of experience in the job market context of India, with a strong understanding of merchandising, product development, and supply chain management. This is a permanent position, and work-from-home arrangements are welcome.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the design and development teams to ensure timely delivery of products
- Manage and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and manufacturers
- Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for replenishment
- Analyze sales trends to determine product performance and adjust product offerings as needed
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies to drive sales and improve product performance
- Manage the product development process from concept to launch
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends and competitor activity
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
- 2-6 years of experience in merchandising, product development, or supply chain management
- Experience working with vendors, suppliers, and manufacturers
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Knowledge of the Indian market and retail industry
