Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Merchandiser to join our team. The role of the Merchandiser is to develop and manage the merchandising strategy for our products. This is a work from home role, and we are looking for someone who has 3-7 years of experience in the job market context of India. This is a permanent position, and work-from-home arrangements are welcome.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the merchandising strategy for our products
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of merchandise
- Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for replenishment
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and adjust merchandising strategy accordingly
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure merchandise is displayed and marketed effectively
- Manage the product life cycle, including product development, pricing, and promotion
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- 3-7 years of experience in merchandising, preferably in the Indian market
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with merchandising software
- Knowledge of retail math and inventory management
