We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Merchandiser to join our team. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and executing merchandising strategies to increase sales and profitability. This is a permanent position, and work-from-home arrangements are welcome.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute merchandising strategies to increase sales and profitability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement product assortments, pricing, and promotional strategies
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities
- Monitor inventory levels and adjust orders to ensure optimal stock levels
- Maintain relationships with vendors and negotiate pricing and terms
- Communicate with retail teams to ensure merchandise is displayed and promoted effectively
- Monitor competitor activity and adjust strategies as needed
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, merchandising, or related field
- 2-6 years of experience in merchandising or related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and merchandising software
- Knowledge of current market trends and consumer behavior
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
