Responsibilities
- Develop and implement merchandising strategies to increase sales and profitability
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute product assortments
- Manage the product lifecycle from initial concept to product launch
- Negotiate with vendors to ensure competitive pricing and on-time delivery
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and forecast future demand
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop promotional strategies
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field
- 2-6 years of experience in merchandising or related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools
- Knowledge of retail industry and market trends
- Experience with online merchandising and e-commerce platforms
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
