Description
We are looking for an experienced Merchandiser to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the product merchandising cycle, from product development to product placement and sales. This is a permanent work-from-home position, and the candidate should have 3-7 years of experience in the job market context of India. This is a permanent position, and work-from-home arrangements are welcome.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement product merchandising strategies and plans
- Work with product development teams to ensure that new products are developed and launched in a timely manner
- Coordinate with sales teams to ensure that products are placed in the right retail stores or online marketplaces
- Analyze market trends and consumer behavior to make informed decisions about product placement and pricing
- Monitor sales performance and adjust merchandising strategies accordingly
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to negotiate product pricing and terms
- Manage inventory levels to ensure that products are always in stock
- Provide training and support to sales teams on product features and benefits
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3-7 years of experience in product merchandising, preferably in the job market context of India
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
- Knowledge of retail and e-commerce industry trends and best practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
