We are seeking an experienced Merchandiser to join our team on a permanent, work from home basis. The ideal candidate will have 3-7 years of experience in the job market context of India. This is a permanent position, and work-from-home arrangements are welcome.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement merchandising strategies that drive sales and profitability
- Manage inventory levels and ensure timely product delivery
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product placement and pricing meet business objectives
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and negotiate pricing and terms
- Attend trade shows and keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- 3-7 years of experience in merchandising, preferably in the retail industry
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and make recommendations
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and data analysis software
