Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Merchandiser to join our team. The role involves managing the end-to-end merchandising process from product ideation to delivery and ensuring that products are delivered on time and meet the company's quality standards. This is a permanent work-from-home position with a fast-growing e-commerce company in India. This is a permanent position, and work-from-home arrangements are welcome.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the design, production and marketing teams to develop and execute merchandising plans
- Manage the entire product lifecycle including product ideation, sourcing, pricing, inventory management, and delivery
- Create and maintain product catalogs, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information
- Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of products and resolve any issues that may arise
- Conduct market research to stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
- 2-6 years of experience in merchandising, preferably in e-commerce or retail industry
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze sales data and identify trends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluent in English and Hindi
