We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Merchandiser to join our team, focusing on Indian women's wear. The main responsibility of this role is to oversee and manage the production of orders, ensuring that quality standards are met and all orders are completed on time. This position requires close coordination with production, quality control, and logistics to deliver defect-free products.
Location: Chandni Chowk
Working Hours: Monday - Saturday, 10:30am - 8:00pm
Key Responsibilities:
Order Management:
- Track and manage all incoming orders, ensuring they are fulfilled accurately and within the designated timelines.
- Maintain detailed records of orders, coordinating with production teams to ensure a smooth process from start to finish.
- Highlight and address any delays or potential issues in the production process.
Quality Control & Assurance:
- Conduct thorough quality checks on all garments to ensure they meet brand standards before dispatch.
- Identify any defects or issues in the products and coordinate with the production team to resolve them promptly.
- Implement quality assurance processes to maintain a consistent standard across all orders.
Vendor & Supplier Coordination:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure quality materials and timely delivery.
- Communicate with vendors regarding any quality issues or requirements that need to be addressed.
Order Inspection & Finalisation:
- Inspect finished products for alignment with design specifications, including fabric, color, embellishments, and stitching.
- Approve garments for dispatch only if they meet all quality and design standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in merchandising in the women's Indian wear segment.
- Strong understanding of Indian traditional attire, fabrics, and quality standards.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work closely with production and supplier teams.
- Proficiency in order management softwares.
