Maintain a good and positive relationship with the customer, management and all the departments
Sound knowledge on the current market trend and develop the samples accordingly while presenting our own developed samples to the customer
Work with the CAD master to get a precise marker for budgeted costing
Accurate and intelligent costing to grab the order with enough business benefits
Plays a vital role in getting from the customer on an order the maximum benefits and considerations by using communication, tactical and influential skills
In the event of not meeting the customer's target price, put all the marketing, strategic (tight marker, CM reduction, suggesting minor changes in design etc) and negotiation skills in place to get the order by convincing the customer
Before confirming the order with customer, work with the production and the sourcing team to ensure the required product delivery can be met and get the directors approval.
Plan to execute the order with less risk involved but with more profitability
Have a good problem-solving skill for any issues related to the order (fabric issues, technical issues, delivery delay etc)
Ensure the latest tech. pack is given to the sample department and monitor all the customer required samples are send on time to them incorporating all the specifications
Prompt updation to the sampling department on any corrections / revisions on the submitted samples and ensure the samples are resubmitted with in no time with all the changes added in it.
Ensure to verify the IH lab reports before sending the samples to nominated testing lab.
Ensure the store is providing the quantity and quality report of the goods received for the order
Ensure all the sample approvals are taken well ahead of the production start date
Ensure the order files with all the required and correct details (order summary, BOM, sample status, sample report etc.) are given to the production unit
Precede over the Preproduction meeting and advice / suggest on any concern/
