Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Merchandiser at our location in Noida. The Merchandiser will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to communication, customer service, sales, retail, and marketing. They will be involved in product selection, negotiation, promotion, and ensuring optimal product display and availability.
Job Description:
- To attend customers RFQs/ Queries/ Developments etc.
- Understand in detail all RFQs/ Queries/ Developments etc.
- Review internally within and with other departments about customer's expectations.
- Arranging required information and timely communication with customers.
- Understanding packaging and testing requirements from customers
- Costing of all new developments within customer's specified timelines
- Coordinating and preparation of all technical parameters and drawing from Design and Engineering Department
- Understanding all drawings and other critical technical parameters with Production, PE, Engineering etc.
- Clarify with customers on any ambiguous parameter.
- Preparation of BOM and Costing and review internally with NPD Head and CEO and get it sign off.
- Sharing Costing with Customer
- Product Development within specified P/Q/C/D parameters and winning business for new articles
- SAP Requirmenets for Sample Development Process
- Deciding make or buy for all component/ matreial requirements
- Placing Purchase orders to all vendors for all buying requirements with clarity on P/Q/C/D
- Coordinating with PE/ Production/ PPC teams for all in house manufacturing requirements with clarity on P/Q/C/D
- Preparation of all related documents for Dispatch and other functions for dispatching samples
- Quality approvals for all the samples at various stages and sample inspection report for dispatching samples
- Timely submission of Samples to Customers
- Follow-up on samples with customers and close all related queries.
- Coordination with customer to get Production PO
- Immediate sharing of all Production POs with PPC, Purchase, Production, Dispatch
