We are a designer clothing label dealing in western wear for women . We retail online via www.echostudio.in and through various multi designer stores like ogaan , ensemble ets. We are looking for a merchandiser for our studio , who has minimum work experience of 2-3 years in the fashion industry . A degree in fashion from a reputable fashion design institute will be given preference. Following are the job responsibilities :
Plan and develop merchandising strategies.
Analyse sales figures, customers reactions and market trends to anticipate product needs and plan product ranges/stock
Collaborate with buyers, suppliers, distributors and analysts to negotiate prices, quantities and time-scales
Maximize customer interest and sales .
Monitor stock movement and consider markdowns, promotions, price changes, clear outs etc
Forecast and plan budgets
Following skills are required for the role:
Proven working experience in merchandising
Basic understanding in digital marketing
Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Commercial acumen and the ability to decode customers
