We are looking for an experienced Assistant Merchandiser to produce sales by providing point-of-purchase and shelf management services. You will get the right product, in the right place, time, quantity and price.
Responsibilities for Assistant Merchandiser
Understand merchandising trends at the category and item level in order to maximize in-season opportunities and minimize risks
Regularly review and evaluate sales trends to determine where to place products for sale and communicate financial results, forecasts, and action plans to management and cross-functional teams
Develop and maintain effective relationships with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Planning & Allocation, and Store Communications to achieve seamless product-to-market process
Create and communicate relevant and effective presentations for product performance reviews, trend and sales meetings, and frequently attend and participate in meetings with cross-functional partners.
Merchandise all wholesale products in accounts within assigned territory including but not limited to shelf orders, displays and cold boxes
Executes duties within established time lines
Maintain a positive working relationship and open lines of communication with supervisors, co-workers and suppliers.
Qualifications for Assistant Merchandiser
A track record of success in a similar role with a minimum of 1 year of experience
Ability to problem solve and keep calm in dealing with customer service issues.
Report any merchandise shortages, overages, or inventory sheet errors and may return inappropriate merchandise as needed
