MEP Procurement Engineer

Description

We are seeking a skilled MEP Procurement Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing procurement activities related to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience including Gulf Experience in procurement engineering and be knowledgeable about the Saudi job market context.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to determine procurement needs
• Source and procure materials, equipment, and services for MEP systems in accordance with project requirements
• Negotiate pricing and contracts with vendors and suppliers
• Review and approve purchase orders
• Ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to job sites
• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation
• Monitor and manage inventory levels of materials and equipment
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
• 4-6 years of experience in procurement in MEP systems
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes and best practices
• Familiarity with Saudi job market context
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
