The project:

This is a 1.5 million sq. ft. of commercial project in Bengaluru, comprising of 2 basements and five towers of different heights. There is also a factory construction of 0.2 million sq. ft., in the same campus.

Reporting to the project lead, responsible for the management of all consultants and MEP contractors involved in this major scheme, through design and delivery on-site to commissioning and handover. Part of the management team in a client-facing, project management consultancy role.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Coordination and reviewing the overall status of the MEPF design as well as reporting the work progress of all MEPF aspects to the project lead, design, and commercial team.

  • Being accountable in driving, quality, cost, and schedule of the MEPF work.

  • Responsible for monitoring compliance of the project.

  • Responsible for monitoring work progress against the project scope.

  • Scheduling of design reviews at all gateways and control points.

  • Organizing and managing technical review team resource and input.

  • Leading MEPF coordination meetings with contractors on work progress.

  • Attending design coordination meetings with MEPF consultants and reviewing all incoming MEPF drawings before sharing with contractors.

  • Responsible for guiding and monitoring MEPF supervision team and the MEPF contractors.

  • Scrutinizing and seeking to improve the project deliverables.

  • Driving innovation and better ways of working.

  • Initiating and driving value management and value engineering as required.

  • Overseeing that the highest standards of health and safety are considered as a priority through all stages of the project.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical.

  • Experience in large scale construction project in a similar role.

  • Knowledge of all MEPF techniques with high technical expertise to resolve onsite issues with proper solution.
