Position: Mendix Developer
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into Mendix solutions.
- Design and architect complex Mendix applications, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
- Integrate Mendix applications with existing systems and third-party APIs.
- Develop custom modules, Microservices, and integrations using Mendix and associated technologies.
- Conduct application testing and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
- Configure and optimize Mendix applications for performance, scalability, and security.
- Provide expertise in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during development and deployment.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with coding standards and quality guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Mendix applications with existing systems and infrastructure.
- Stay updated on the latest Mendix features, updates, and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.
Skills Required:
- 5+ years of Strong proficiency in Mendix development, including experience with Micro flows, Nano Flows, Domain Models, and UI design.
- Proficiency in the Mendix platform, including Mendix Studio Pro.
- Proficiency in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs for application integration
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, Azure DevOps/JIRA).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to debug and troubleshoot complex issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to motivate and inspire team members towards achieving project goals.
Additional Requirements - Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for Mendix applications.
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture principles and design patterns.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience in implementing Mendix solutions in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with database systems such as SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
- Experience in mentoring and training junior Mendix developers.
- Mendix Developer Certification is a plus.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and methodologies.
- Other Skills: Web development, mobile development experience in Java /Angular JS.
