Job Role
- Handling shift operations in Melting area. ( Team size - 20 ).
- Succesful SOP of new plant Melting equipments and scaling up operations.
- Handling forklift assisted molten metal transfer.
- Train new operators on machine operations as per WIS. Train for fork lift operations.
- Achieve shift area target wrt Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Suggestions.
- Supporting training of new trainee supervisors.
- Ensure timely process parameters check and corrections..
- Maintain Floor Control, 1S /2S in area.
- Note and resolve operator concerns on time.
Educational Qualification: Diploma/Graduation
(With Specialization): Diploma in Mechanical/Production Engineering
Job Responsibilities
- Understanding and implementing Striko Make Melting furnace operations.
- Achieve melting area shift output targets w.r.t Rejection %, SPH, OEE, Suggestions.
- Monitor and maintain attendance % of team members.
- Motivate team to give suggestions and ensure implementation of the same.
- Train new operators as per WIS. Support in developing new trainee supervisors.
- Ensure shift safety adherence w.r.t PPE, KYT. Reporting near misses.
- Resolving or reporting operator concerns timely.
- Area floor control and 1S /2S adherence.
- Understanding and adhering to 5S, 3G, 3K, HP-REN-SO principles.
- Participate in 5 Why analysis, PDCA, 7 QC Tools, Cost saving suggestions. Competencies / Skills Functional/Technical:
- Sound knowledge of Aluminum Melting process (Striko Make preferred)
- Hands on experience in effectively handling molten metal, furnace cleaning, maintaining furnace condition and trouble shooting.
Ability to understand melting process flaws and reduce defects by corrections.
- Work experience in 4W Die Casting product and process control.
- Expertise in improving molten metal quality level.
Hands on experience in trouble shooting forklift operated lines.
- Ability to do 5 Why, PDCA, 7 QC Tools is mandatory
- Proficiency in MS Excel Advanced & MS Power Point
