Medical Transcriptionist and Coordinator
- Transcribe medical reports interpreted by Radiologist.
- Coordination with Patients, Doctors and staff.
- Experience in transcribing USG, CT, MRI, X-ray, IR and obstetric reports.
- Update patient data in medical system database.
- Managing patients before, during and after scans.
- Filling details of Form F for obstetrics scan.
- Update patient data in medical system database.
- Review and edit transcribed reports or dictated material for spelling, grammar, clarity,
Consistency and proper medical terminology.
- Return dictated reports in electronic form for radiologist review, correction, and signature, for inclusion in patients medical records.
- Accuracy in mapping, template selection, putting formats, spellings, making impressions, removing negative points from report etc.
- Time out Verification of image count, patient name, identification number, age, sex, date and time of study.
- Checking the relevant and adequate clinical details.
- Maintain timeframe for the studies.
- Prioritization emergency / stat studies.
- Use the standard templates, macros and short cuts /auto text.
- Maintain patient privacy.
- Team work.
