As a Medical Oncologist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating cancer patients using chemotherapy, hormonal therapy, biological therapy, and targeted therapy. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans and provide compassionate care to patients and their families.
- Conducting patient consultations to diagnose cancer and determine the best course of treatment
- Administering chemotherapy, hormonal therapy, biological therapy, and targeted therapy
- Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
- Participating in clinical research and staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in cancer treatment
- Providing emotional support and education to patients and their families
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification in Medical Oncology
- Current state medical license
