- The Field Sales Officer is responsible for generating sales revenue by promoting and selling company products or services in designated territories
- They will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets
- The Field Sales Officer will work closely with the sales team and report to the Sales Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies and tactics to meet or exceed sales targets within the assigned territory
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting and qualifying potential customers
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to understand customer needs, market trends, and pricing strategies
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers through regular visits, meetings, and presentations
- Deliver product presentations and demonstrations to educate customers about the features and benefits of company products or services
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms of sales agreements to close deals and secure new business
- Collaborate with the sales team to coordinate sales efforts, share market feedback, and ensure customer satisfaction
- Prepare and submit accurate sales forecasts, reports, and other sales-related documentation as required
- Stay updated on industry trends, product knowledge, and competitive offerings to provide valuable insights and recommendations to customers
- Attend sales meetings, trainings, and industry events to enhance product knowledge and sales skills
- Qualifications and Skills:Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field
- Relevant certifications in sales or marketing are a plus
- X years of experience in field sales or a similar role, preferably in the same industry or related industry
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Strong negotiation and persuasive selling skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet sales objectives
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction and business growth
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage customer interactions, track sales activities, and generate reports
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory
- Knowledge of the industry, market trends, and competitor landscape
