Job Title: Medical Counselor (IVF Center)

Location: Remote (Monday to Friday), In-Office (Saturday)

Job Type: Full-Time

Position Overview:


As a Medical Counselor for our IVF center, you will play a crucial role in guiding and supporting patients through their fertility treatment journey. This role involves working remotely Monday through Friday, conducting virtual consultations and follow-ups, and attending the office for in-person visits on Saturdays.

Key Responsibilities:



A. Patient Consultation and Support:

B. Provide compassionate and professional counseling to patients seeking IVF treatments.

C. Conduct initial assessments to understand patient needs and concerns.

D. Offer emotional support and guidance throughout the fertility treatment process.

E. Virtual Counseling (Monday to Friday):

F. Conduct virtual consultations, including pre-treatment counseling and follow-up sessions.

G. Explain treatment options, procedures, and potential outcomes clearly to patients.

H. Address patient questions and concerns via video calls, phone calls, and email.

- In-Office Responsibilities (Saturday):

A. Attend the office on Saturdays for in-person consultations and support.

B. Collaborate with the medical team to discuss patient progress and treatment plans.

C. Facilitate patient interactions with other healthcare professionals as needed.

- Documentation and Record Keeping:

A. Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.

B. Document patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress reports.

C. Ensure all documentation complies with privacy regulations and organizational policies.

- Educational Support:

A. Provide educational resources and materials related to IVF treatments and fertility.

B. Assist patients in understanding their treatment plans and options.

- Continuous Improvement:

A. Stay updated on the latest developments in fertility treatments and counseling techniques.

B. Contribute to the development and enhancement of counseling protocols and patient resources.

Qualifications:



A. Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

B. Certification or licensure in counseling or therapy is highly desirable.

C. Previous experience in medical or fertility counseling is preferred.

D. Strong understanding of IVF procedures and fertility treatments is a plus.

E. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

F. Ability to provide compassionate and empathetic support.

G. Proficiency in using virtual communication tools and platforms.

H. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.

Working Conditions:



A. Remote work Monday through Friday with flexible hours.

B. In-office presence required on Saturdays.

C. May require occasional adjustment to working hours to accommodate patient needs.
