Job Summary:
The Medical Content Writer will be responsible for creating, editing, and reviewing high-quality medical content for various platforms, including websites, blogs, social media, and patient education materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical writing, excellent research skills, and the ability to translate complex medical information into clear, concise, and engaging content.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Write and develop medical content for websites, blogs, articles, social media, newsletters, and patient education materials.
Research:
Conduct thorough research on medical topics to ensure accuracy and credibility of content.Editing and Proofreading:
Review and edit content to ensure it meets high standards of quality, clarity, and consistency.Collaboration: Work closely with medical professionals, marketing teams, and other stakeholders to develop content that meets organizational goals.
- SEO Optimization: Optimize content for search engines to increase visibility and engagement.
Compliance:
Ensure all content adheres to regulatory guidelines and industry standards.
Qualifications:Education:
Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Medicine, Pharmacy, Journalism, or a related field. A Master's degree or certification in medical writing is a plus.Experience: 3 to 6 years of experience in medical writing or content creation in the healthcare industry.
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.- Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare topics.
Proficient in conducting online and offline research.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices.
