The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality, engaging, and informative content that effectively communicates our hospital's mission, services, and patient-centered approach. The Content Writer will play a crucial role in enhancing our online presence, engaging with our target audience, and maintaining consistent brand messaging.

Responsibilities

  • Content Creation: Develop compelling and relevant content for various platforms, including the hospital website, social media, newsletters, blogs, brochures, press releases, and other marketing materials.
  • Medical Content: Research and create accurate, well-researched, and medically accurate content that educates patients, families, and the general public about various medical conditions, treatments, procedures, and healthcare best practices.
  • SEO Optimization: Incorporate SEO best practices to ensure that content is search-engine friendly and ranks well in search results.
  • Brand Consistency: Maintain consistent brand messaging, tone, and style across all written materials to reflect the hospital's values and mission.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments, medical professionals, and subject matter experts to gather information and insights for content creation.
  • Content Calendar: Contribute to the development and maintenance of a content calendar to ensure timely delivery of content across different platforms.
  • Editing and Proofreading: Review and edit content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, style, and accuracy.
  • Social Media Engagement: Assist in managing social media accounts by creating engaging posts and responding to comments and messages when necessary.
  • Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with industry trends, medical advancements, and healthcare news to ensure content is current and relevant.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven 3-5 years experience as a content writer, preferably in the healthcare or medical field.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, healthcare practices, and patient engagement.
  • Proficiency in SEO principles and content optimization.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and basic HTML.
  • Excellent research skills and the ability to understand and communicate complex medical topics in an easily understandable manner.
  • Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative content ideas.
