• Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Medical Biller with at least one year of experience in medical billing, particularly in Accounts Receivable (AR) follow-up. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record and hands-on experience with CPT and ICD-10 codes, as well as modifiers. Medical billing certification is a plus.

• Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of medical billing, including posting charges, posting payments, insurance and patient billing, appeals, insurance follow-up, patient and practice communication, and denials.

• Constructively communicate and problem solve with Medicare and commercial insurance companies using their respective portals, as well as through verbal and written communication.

Demonstrate the ability to multitask and independently work well within a group environment.

• Utilize E Clinical Works software for billing tasks, making prior experience with this software mandatory.

• Requirements:

At least one year of medical billing experience.

• Experience with AR follow-up.

Proven track record and hands-on working experience with CPT and ICD-10 codes, as well as modifiers.

• Ability to constructively communicate and problem solve with Medicare and commercial insurance companies.

Proficiency in using insurance portals and verbal and written communication.

• Medical billing certification is a plus.

Ability to multitask and work independently within a group environment.

• Mandatory experience with E Clinical Works software.

• Note:

This position offers the opportunity to take full responsibility for all billing aspects across multiple practices and specialties.
