Job Summary
This role requires expertise in the therapy area for the assigned product portfolio. The
individual will be a key resource in medico-marketing activities related to the business
area/portfolio, and will support the implementation of the medical affairs strategy in the
country.
Job Responsibilities
l Mastery over therapy area and allotted product/portfolio and also relevant competitors
products
l Ensure that the profile of the NN remains high amongst stakeholders like KOLs, doctors,
patients, paramedics, associations etc. by developing and maintaining a close rapport.
Providing them medical support whenever required.
l Answering medical queries related to company products raise by doctors and field staff
and other customers
l Close interaction with marketing and sales colleagues to sharpen and implement product
positioning and promotional strategies. Foresee the challenges by competitors products,
activities or changing market dynamics and make timely corrective and preventive
actions.
l Actively participate in meetings, workshops, conferences, updates, CMEs etc
l To assist the regulatory personnel in ensuring that all promotional activities and NNIPL
products and packaging conform to regulatory laws and directions
l Identification and development of publications/content, relevant to assigned
product/portfolio or based on marketing need; suitable for scientific and non-scientific
forums and suitable for internal and external customers
l Facilitate new product launches with close association of marketing and regulatory
colleague to achieve the overall corporate objective
l Contribution for generation of new data relevant to product/portfolio assigned;
identification and critical evaluation of new data generated by competitor. Use of data
for effective product promotion.
Job Requirements
l MD Pharmacology with min. 2 years of experience in clinical practice in
Endocrinology/Internal Medicine
l Experience with Clinical Research and GCP
l Preferably previous pharma industry experience
