Responsibilities
- Participate in client meetings to understand campaign briefs and analyse it for further team discussions. Collaborate with account managers and clients to understand their marketing objectives and develop digital media strategies that align with their goals.
- Conduct research on target audiences, industry trends, and competitive landscape to inform media planning decisions.
- Identify and evaluate digital media channels (e.g., display advertising, social media, search engine marketing, mobile advertising) based on their effectiveness in reaching target audiences and delivering desired outcomes.
- Develop comprehensive media plans, including budget allocation, media mix recommendations, and campaign timelines.
- Collaborate with media buyers to negotiate favourable terms, including rates, placements, and added value opportunities with media vendors and publishers.
- Coordinate with creative teams to develop engaging ad content and ensure it aligns with the media strategy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field
- Proven experience (typically 6-9 years) in digital media planning, preferably in an agency or marketing environment
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including display advertising, social media, search engine marketing, and mobile advertising.
- Familiarity with advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, or programmatic platforms.
- Proficient in using analytics tools to measure and analyse campaign performance.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate media strategies and campaign results to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
