Responsibilities
We have an exciting role for
Analyst - Media Monitoring.
Location - Gurgaon
Work timing - 4:00 pm to 1:00 am
Responsibilities:
- Use RSS reader software to review collected content and identify relevant media articles for reporting purposes
- Perform Google News searches to identify relevant media articles for reporting purposes
- Use broadcast monitoring software to identify and compile relevant broadcast media clips for reporting purposes
- Generate email-based alerts based on pre-defined templates.
- Support the team in various tasks like ongoing development and troubleshooting the issues faced with maintenance projects.
- Support data collection, data cleaning, and data synthesis efforts for research and communications measurement initiatives.
- Potentially participate in the following activities for clients or new business.
- Complete traditional or social landscape analyses.
- Clean data from landscape analyses to remove extraneous results, including press releases.
- Evaluate owned and competitive social channels.
- Regular data pulls from social listening topic to populate monitoring reports.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years of experience using Google News to search for specific news content
- Experience working with RSS platforms such as Feedly
- Experience working with broadcast monitoring platforms such as Critical Mention strongly preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (US English)
- Flexibility to work in US hours
- Ability to analyze data and extract the most salient points that provide important audience or market insights.
- Ability to exhibit reliable independent decision making & receive & act on constructive feedback provided
- Proficient in MS Office especially MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Good to have experience in Media Monitoring and Social Listening tools like Talkwalker, Brandwatch, Sprinklr, Konnect Insights, Meltwater, LexisNexis, Cision, Newswhip, etc.
