The Media Buyer - Google Ads plays a crucial role in managing and optimizing digital advertising campaigns to reach target audiences and drive desired outcomes. This role is responsible for leveraging the Google Ads platform to execute media buys, analyze campaign performance, and make data-driven decisions to achieve marketing objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and optimize media buys across Google Ads platform.
  • Conduct market research to identify target audiences and media channels.
  • Create and manage digital advertising campaigns to drive traffic, leads, and conversions.
  • Analyze campaign performance data and provide actionable insights for optimization.
  • Collaborate with creative and content teams to develop ad creatives and messaging.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform media buying strategies.
  • Negotiate and secure ad placements and media space to maximize ROI.
  • Manage budgets, pacing, and bidding strategies to achieve performance goals.
  • Implement A/B testing and other optimization tactics to improve campaign results.
  • Utilize Google Analytics and other analytics tools to track and report on campaign performance.
  • Stay updated on Google Ads best practices and new features to apply to campaigns.
  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide campaign updates and insights.
  • Stay informed about industry regulations and compliance requirements related to media buying.
  • Assist in developing media buying strategies and media plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align media buying efforts with overall marketing goals.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or related field.
  • Proven experience in media buying and campaign management, especially within the Google Ads platform.
  • Demonstrated expertise in optimizing digital ad campaigns to achieve performance goals.
  • In-depth knowledge of Google Ads and other digital advertising platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign performance data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to secure optimal media placements.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in utilizing analytics tools such as Google Analytics to measure campaign performance.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to develop compelling ad creatives and messaging.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and industry trends.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality of work.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
