Job Description

We are looking for a Media Planning Wizard

You will work with the Media Practice lead at Glassbox and collaborate in analyzing and building media plans for brands across sectors. Take ownership of evolving quality standard for planning deliverables (IE- Media Recommendation Template, Post Campaign Analysis, etc) - Partner with other team leads, especially Analytics, Strategy to develop best practices. Use various analytical tools to track and compile viewership statistics. Co-ordinating, monitoring, and evaluating media campaigns and strategies.

  • Develops the annual media strategy in sync with the annual business plans
  • Develops and executes the quarter-on-quarter plan
  • Develop integrated, innovative and targeted media solutions for brands using requisite planning tools in close association with key media partners and agencies. In doing thus, leverage the various media insights, consumer insights and brand track scores
  • Partner with the media agency to develop the right media mix, be it traditional media or new age media
  • Elevate the measurement and analytics of the media used, be it traditional media like TV or digital. Anchor the planning on media-mix modelling analytics so as to deliver marketing outcomes (MMM is provided by a Global vendor of McDonald's, the Math Company)
  • Ensure advanced digital best practices like attention, viewability, brand safety & ad-fraud detection tactics are in place
  • Bring in an innovative media mindset and aggressively drive the adoption of new-age media like OTT, On-the-go music platforms etc
  • Ensure and improve budget efficiencies, ensure that the plans are on the negotiated rates as per contract
  • Ensure reporting from agencies are as per management requirements and timelines.
  • Monitor the media marketplace to stay abreast of trends, identify opportunities , emerging issues, understand new technologies and consumer reaction to the same
  • Develop and maintain benchmarks like CPRPs and improve on them
  • Conduct media audits with the media partners to ensure efficiencies and process improvements

What needs to be in your wizards bag

1. 3-5 years of experience in a Media Planning function at an Agency.

2. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities

3. Well versed with MS office tools.

4. Familiar with TV and Digital Media planning tools and programs (BARC, TGI, GWI)

5. Proficient in MS Excel, Formulae including charts, pivot table etc.

6. Organization skills, with an ability to stay focused on assigned tasks.

7. Keen on building a tech product ground up & being part of the growth story.
