Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Mechanical Technician for a Glass Manufacting and processing industry. The Mechanical Technician will be responsible for day-to-day equipment maintenance, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks. They will ensure the proper functioning of machinery and equipment to support the operations of Pearl Group's various companies.

- Responsible for upkeeping of machines for production with necessary documentation

- To inspect the machines & premises regularly with routine maintenance checklist

- To receive the complaint and give the counter measure to fix the problem

- Troubleshooting and diagnosis of control panel of automatic PLC controlled machine with OEM manual and electrical drawings

- Proactive approach in identifying the abnormality and address with prompt solution before it end up with breakdown or failure

- Enhancing the life span of electrical and electronic parts of machine

- Having basic knowledge of pneumatic , hydraulic, and mechanical parts will be added advantage

- Capable to handle the maintenance shift operation with supportive semiskilled manpower
