Qualifications And Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant experience in oil and gas construction field ( refinery, petrochemicals, offshore platform, power plant, piping project, boiler manufacturing, if any)
- Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on refinery construction, piping and pipeline projects
- Strong knowledge of mechanical Qa/Qc documentation, isometric drawings, NDT and welding Procedures.
- Proficiency in CSWIP 3.1 certification
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Passionate about teaching and mentoring students
- Ability to work effectively in a team
Roles And Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures and practical sessions on mechanical QC engineering subjects
- Create and maintain course materials, including lecture notes, assignments, and assessments
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality training sessions that align with industry standards
- Provide guidance and support to students, promoting their learning and skills development
- Conduct assessments and evaluate student performance, providing constructive feedback
- Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with other faculty members to enhance the curriculum and teaching methodologies
- Participate in faculty meetings, workshops, and professional development activities
