Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Mangalore Minerals Pvt Ltd. As a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment and systems in our manufacturing facility. Qualifications And Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and processes.
- Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and repairs of mechanical equipment.
- Excellent leadership and supervisory skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with internal teams and external vendors.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Attention to detail and a focus on safety.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of relevant safety and regulatory standards.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate the maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment and systems.
- Supervise a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures to ensure optimal equipment performance and reliability.
- Schedule and prioritize maintenance tasks to minimize production downtime.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues, and recommend and implement effective solutions.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in all maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize disruptions.
- Manage inventory of spare parts and equipment, and order replacements as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance tasks.
- Conduct regular inspections of mechanical equipment to identify potential issues and implement proactive maintenance strategies.
