Mechanical Maintenance - Jr Engineer

Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Maintenance - Jr Engineer with 2-8 years of experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all mechanical equipment is operating efficiently and effectively in our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on mechanical equipment, including cleaning and lubricating parts, adjusting and replacing belts, bearings, and other components as needed
• Identify and troubleshoot mechanical problems, and make necessary repairs
• Conduct periodic inspections to ensure that all equipment is functioning properly
• Assist with the installation of new equipment and machinery
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols
• Collaborate with other members of the maintenance team to develop and implement best practices for equipment maintenance and repair

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 2-8 years of experience in mechanical maintenance
• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues
• Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools
• Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
