Position: Mechanical Engineering Intern

Internship Overview:
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern with at least 2-3 project experiences to join our engineering team. In this role, you will work closely with experienced engineers to design and develop automotive parts for our product platforms. You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in areas such as reverse engineering, design for manufacturing (DFM), prototyping, and computer-aided design (CAD). This internship offers an opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative electric vehicle technology and gain valuable engineering experience in a fast-paced startup environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and development of automotive parts for electric bicycles, including chassis components, drivetrain systems, and structural elements.
- Conduct reverse engineering activities to analyze existing components and systems, identify design improvements, and propose innovative solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that design concepts meet performance requirements, manufacturing constraints, and project timelines.
- Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed 3D models and engineering drawings for manufacturing.
- Participate in design reviews and prototype testing activities to evaluate product performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
- Support the development of design documentation, including technical specifications, engineering reports, and design validation plans.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on design processes, tools, and methodologies.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor) for 3D modeling and engineering design.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, mechanics, and materials science.
- Familiarity with design for manufacturing (DFM) principles and techniques.
- Experience with prototyping methods and tools, including 3D printing, CNC machining, and fabrication.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
