Profile Overview :
Orbit & Skyline is looking forward to onboarding a Mechanical Engineer with expertise in creating/updating
components specification sheets and part/assembly 3D CAD models.
The candidate will be part of a team assisting in the delivery of efficient engineering support and solutions to
customers while also contributing to the development of Indian semiconductor ecosystem.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Working with cross functional team for ECN and ECO activities.
Work on creating/updating components specification sheets and part/assembly 3D CAD models.
Preparing the part/assembly drawings as per the given standard.
Undertake any other duties of a reasonable nature as required by management.
Required Qualifications:
A Master's degree (Mechanical/CAD&CAM) will be preferred with 2-3 years of experience; or
A Bachelor's degree with min. 5 years of experience.
Must have a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
Mandatory Skills required to perform the job:
Must have a good working knowledge of Creo.
Sound knowledge of sheet metals, Machined, and plastic parts.
Good understanding of GD & T, Tolerance stack-up and manufacturing process.
Must have a good understanding of mechanical engineering subjects/areas like Strength of material,
mechanics, thermodynamics, and heat & mass transfer with the ability to perform hand design
calculations.
Has good communication skills (written & verbal) with excellent command on MS office tools.
Able to work with limited supervision and an agile environment.
Must be comfortable working with US-based timings.
Good to have:
Understanding of FMEA.
Experience in NX & Solid works.
Experience in FEA (Structural & Thermal)
Knowledge of design life cycle management tools e.g., Windchill/PLM.
