Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Description

Create and/or review packaging designs in CAD environment

Manage 2D drawing conversions, tolerance analysis and revision changes in Team centre

Create reports for packaging projects and present them to the stakeholders

Drive BOM change requests for the parts to include packaging

Drive and coordinate packaging projects between packaging engineering and cross-functional teams

Supplier interactions including designing packaging, obtaining quotes.

Skills Required:

3+ years of experience in Packaging/ Mechanical/ Manufacturing/ Industrial Engineering

Strong communication skills

CAD skills UG-NX Modelling, assembly & drafting ( Proficiency levels- High), AutoCAD

Well versed with Team-center, ECO, ECR process

Experience in New product development & processes
