Key Responsibilities:
- Optimize Supply Scheduling: Oversee scheduling processes to ensure timely material supply aligns with production needs while maintaining stock at optimal levels.
- Strategize Material Delivery: Develop and assess material delivery processes from suppliers to the point of use, meeting volume requirements and planning assumptions.
- Order & Delivery Management: Direct daily order and delivery management activities to minimize disruptions.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks affecting production schedules, taking proactive actions to address material shortages.
- Process Improvement: Implement and maintain processes aligned with company standards, fostering continuous improvement and identifying potential enhancements.
- Material Requirements Planning (MRP): Utilize the MRP system, ensuring data accuracy, resolving issues, and updating necessary stakeholders.
- Inventory Integrity: Monitor Bill of Materials (BOM) accuracy, validate inventory levels, and support inventory checks.
- Minimize Obsolescence: Proactively reduce obsolete stock and minimize residual business liability.
- Performance Reporting: Produce regular reports, analytics, and updates for cross-functional teams.
- Achieve Targets: Responsible for achieving Inventory Turnover (ITO) and Days of Supply (DOS) targets, collaborating with Warehouse and Logistics teams to balance costs.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Industry Experience: Proven leadership experience in high-volume manufacturing environments, ideally in battery cell production or similar sectors.
- Materials Planning Expertise: Strong foundation in establishing and managing materials planning processes.
- Leadership Abilities: Skilled in team motivation, fostering operational excellence, and bringing out the best in each team member.
- Analytical Skills: High level of attention to detail, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Lean/Six Sigma Knowledge: Familiarity with lean manufacturing tools and Six Sigma concepts to drive process efficiency.
