Material Planner with SAP PP Module Expertise at Modular Building
Modular Building is seeking an experienced Material Planner with expertise in the SAP PP module to join our dynamic team. As a Material Planner, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our production processes are efficient and that materials are available as needed to meet our production schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the planning and scheduling of materials for production.
- Utilize the SAP PP module to track and manage material requirements, inventory levels, and production schedules.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure timely availability of materials.
- Monitor and adjust material plans based on changes in demand and production schedules.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any supply chain issues.
- Analyze material usage patterns and forecast future material needs.
- Maintain accurate records of material transactions and inventory levels.
- Conduct regular audits of material inventory to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Work closely with the procurement team to manage material procurement processes.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements in material planning and procurement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Material Planner, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Expertise in the SAP PP module is required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
