We are looking for aMaster student for thesis work at our development centre in Stockholm, Sweden.
Topic proposal:Feasibility Study and Development of mm-Wave Radar Technology for Autonomous Door Control Systems in Passenger Trains
Background
As a part of Alstom innovative solutions, the focus of this master thesis is the exploration of mm-wave radar technology as a novel solution for the control/command of the doors.
The aim is to detect passengers and intention to access the train to manage the door command automatically without the need of using the push button for example, this could also be considered for the opening of the internal/gangway doors. The solution would also ease the access for persons with reduce mobility.
