Job Description:
As the Marketing Manager for the India market at Duhani Capital, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies and campaigns tailored to the unique needs and preferences of the Indian audience. You will play a key role in driving brand awareness, customer acquisition, and business growth in the region through targeted marketing initiatives.
Note: This role is based in Malaysia. Candidate must be willing to relocate to Malaysia.
What will you do:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies and campaigns for the India market to increase brand visibility, attract new clients, and drive trading activity in line with business objectives and targets.
- Conduct market research and analysis to understand local market trends, consumer behavior, competitor activities, and regulatory landscape, and use insights to inform marketing strategies and campaign planning.
- Collaborate with global marketing teams to adapt global marketing assets and campaigns for the Indian market, ensuring cultural relevance, language localization, and compliance with local regulations and sensitivities.
- Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, email, events, partnerships, and traditional media, to reach target audiences and drive engagement and conversion.
- Develop strong relationships with local media outlets, influencers, industry associations, and strategic partners to amplify brand messaging, secure media coverage, and leverage co-marketing opportunities.
- Manage local marketing budgets, allocate resources effectively, and track spending to optimize ROI and achieve cost-efficiency in marketing activities.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including sales, product, and support teams, to align marketing initiatives with business priorities, promotional activities, and customer feedback.
- Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance, track key metrics, and generate reports to evaluate effectiveness, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations for optimization and improvement.
- Ensure brand consistency and integrity across all marketing materials and communications in the India market, including messaging, visual identity, and tone of voice.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in marketing, and share knowledge and insights with internal teams to foster continuous learning and innovation.
Who are we looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; additional certifications or training in marketing or digital marketing are a plus.
- Proven experience of 5 years in marketing roles, preferably in the financial services industry or related sectors, with a focus on the Indian market.
- Deep understanding of the Indian market landscape, consumer preferences, cultural nuances, and regulatory requirements relevant to the financial services industry.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable marketing strategies and campaign plans.
- Experience in developing and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns, with proficiency in digital marketing channels, social media platforms, and marketing automation tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English and proficiency in Hindi or other local languages preferred.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving measurable business outcomes and ROI through marketing initiatives.
- Collaborative and team-oriented approach with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners to achieve shared goals.
