About The Good Felt
The Good Felt (TGF) is an innovative venture focused on sustainability, creating non-woven felt fabrics from recycled textile waste. We cater to industries such as acoustics, packaging, and fashion accessories, with a mission to reduce textile waste and promote circular economy practices.
We are seeking a Marketing Manager to lead the marketing strategy and implementation for TGF. This role will be crucial in driving brand awareness, managing content creation, and executing various marketing initiatives. The role is currently being offered as a 3-month contract, with the possibility of transitioning into a longer-term role as TGF spins off as an independent venture in the near future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Website Development: Collaborate on the design and content updates for the TGF website, ensuring it reflects the latest developments, product offerings, and brand messaging.
- Content Creation: Develop and manage engaging social media content, newsletters, and other digital materials to raise brand awareness and communicate TGF's mission.
- PR & Communications: Craft press releases, manage relationships with media outlets, and drive public relations efforts to position TGF as a leader in sustainable innovation.
- Marketing Strategy: Work with the leadership team to define and implement a marketing plan that supports business goals and growth targets.
- Reports & Analytics: Create detailed marketing reports to track progress, analyze performance, and refine strategies accordingly.
- Task Management: Handle end-to-end marketing tasks, including event coordination, campaign management, and outreach initiatives, to ensure timely execution of all marketing activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
- 3-5 years of marketing experience, preferably in the sustainability, textile, or fashion industries.
- Proven experience managing digital marketing campaigns, website development, and content creation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong focus on sustainability storytelling.
- Experience with PR, media outreach, and report-making.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Passion for sustainability, innovation, and driving positive change.

You have the ability to manage, create, and distribute marketing materials for a number of different on and offline channels.
You have the experience to understand, manage and measure marketing campaigns and report the results to the team.
You are good at fining creative solutions for working within a budget.
You have some experience creating, training and supporting a marketing team.
You know the steps it take to launch a successful marketing campaign from concept to implementation.
You know how to manage external agencies and vendors so that they deliver great work for your campaigns.
You have a working knowledge of our industry and you stay up to date with new trends, methods and technology.
You are a creative and innovative thinker who has great problem solving skills.
