- Ensure market competitiveness by defining development targets and competitive pricing so as to achieve the sales and profitability targets.
- Recruit, develop, maintain and lead sales teams and provide motivationa leadership so as to be able to realize agreed performance criteria.
- Should have superb interpersonal skills such as oral and written communications.
Job Expectations
- Marketing efforts typically include print and electronic advertisements that target former guests and also attempt to attract new clientele. Marketing managers curry favor with customers, ensuring that they enjoy their stay and return.
- Identify areas of opportunity in performance and recommend tools and sales training to optimize performance of sales team.
- Additionally work with individual hotel teams to identify skill development areas and properly deploy sales and marketing resources
- Work closely with Revenue Manager to ensure proposed rate negotiations to meet the financial needs of the hotels.
- Develop strong relationships with on property front office team to ensure working in unity and always striving to achieve the same goals.
- Accompany sales team on sales calls to potential clients to assist in development of the account and to access the effectiveness and sales skills of the sales person
Minimum Qualification
MBA in Marketing Management or other related fields
