Position Overview:
This individual will be responsible for overseeing and executing all marketing activities, both internal and in collaboration with external agencies. The Marketing Manager will play a critical role in developing and implementing effective marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth. As a start up, we require a versatile and hands-on marketing professional who can manage a wide range of responsibilities and deliver exceptional results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
1. Marketing Strategy Development and Execution:
Develop and execute innovative marketing strategies aligned with the company's overall business objectives and target audience.
Identify target market segments and develop tailored marketing campaigns to reach and engage these audiences effectively.
Collaborate with external agencies to ensure cohesive and effective marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, content marketing, and offline marketing.
2. Brand Management:
Develop and maintain a strong brand identity and ensure consistent brand messaging across all marketing channels.
Monitor and analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to identify opportunities for brand differentiation and growth.
Work with external agencies to create compelling brand assets, including logos, packaging, website design, and marketing collateral.
3. Digital Marketing:
Drive digital marketing initiatives, including website management, SEO, SEM, social media marketing, email marketing, and online advertising campaigns.
Develop and optimize digital marketing strategies to increase website traffic, generate leads, and enhance online brand presence.
Collaborate with external agencies to develop engaging content for digital platforms and track performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
4. Public Relations and Communication:
Manage public relations activities and media relations to enhance brand visibility and positive media coverage.
Craft and distribute press releases, articles, and other relevant content to relevant media outlets and industry influencers.
Collaborate with external agencies to develop and execute PR strategies and build relationships with key stakeholders.
5. Analytics and Reporting:
Monitor, analyze, and report on marketing campaign performance, including key metrics,
ROI, and customer insights.
Use data-driven insights to optimize marketing strategies and make informed decisions.
Collaborate with external agencies to leverage their expertise in data analysis and reporting.
6. Budget Management:
Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and
cost control.
Evaluate the return on investment (ROI) of marketing activities and adjust strategies
accordingly.
7. Cross-functional Collaboration:
Collaborate closely with internal teams, including sales, product development, and creative
services, to align marketing efforts with business goals and objectives.
Coordinate with external agencies and freelancers to ensure timely and high-quality delivery
of marketing assets and campaigns.
.Qualifications;
Master's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
Proven experience (8-10 years) in marketing management, preferably in a startup or fast-
paced environment.
Strong knowledge of marketing principles, digital marketing trends, and best practices.
Experience in managing and collaborating with external agencies and freelancers.
Proficient in digital marketing tools, analytics platforms, and content management systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Strong project management and multitasking skills.
Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
