About the role
Give Grants is a service provider to CSR teams within large corporations. Our target audience are CSR heads, CSR leads, board members, and CXOs (founder, CEO, head of corp comm) at India's largest companies.
The Give Grants was created as a sub-brand under the larger Give brand in 2022, and is therefore at an early stage of its development. Our marketing strategy is focused on creating brand awareness and positioning Give Grants as a thought leader within the social impact space. Lead generation is a secondary objective.
We are looking for a marketing lead who can take end to end ownership of refining this strategy and executing it, while working collaboratively with the sales team.
You will be responsible for
Marketing strategy and planning
build and execute a marketing strategy to create awareness for Give Grants within the CSR community
position Give Grants as a CSR and social impact thought leader
own marketing outcomes, not just activities
deliver within tight budgets
Content Marketing
Own the Give Grants Linkedin channel and use it to build CSR focused communities
Run email campaigns for existing and potential customers
Effectively drive PR coverage and media partnerships for Give Grants, using PR agencies as needed
Develop content for each of these channels (Linkedin, emails, long form content for PR) across various formats (copy, images, video, audio) using agency / freelancer support as needed
Own the Give Grants website, and drive relevant traffic
Sales enablement
Support the sales team for email campaigns, webinars and any other activation events
Provide content and design support for sales collateral (case studies, pitch decks etc)
Events
Partner with existing CSR focused events and over time, create and manage owned B2B events
This is a high visibility, hands-on role in a startup environment. You will be responsible for building a B2B social impact brand from scratch. The list given above is indicative at best, and the role will need innovative thinking and hustle beyond doing the obvious.
Give Grants is a young brand with limited budgets. You will run a lean team and work with freelancers for specific technical skills.
You will be successful if you come with
7+ years of overall experience with 2+ years in a marketing lead role
Prior experience and a strong conceptual understanding of B2B marketing is essential, especially B2B services and/or B2B SaaS products
Ability to write long-form and short-form copy, and work with content creators as needed
A strong design aesthetic, and high comfort in working with designers
A genuine interest in the social development sector - Prior experience in the sector is relevant, but not mandatory.
High comfort with using marketing automation tools and generative AI tools, where relevant.
Ability to bring creative, out-of-the-box thinking to the table
Hands-on approach to execution - the roll up your sleeves & get hands dirty kinds
Desire to work in a fast-paced startup environment
